Composers Philip Cashian and John Woolrich photographed at Dartington Summer School of Music. Cashian, born 1963, is an English composer and is head of composition at the Royal Academy of Music. John Woolrich, born 1954, is an English composer who founded the Composers Ensemble, the Hoxton New Music Days and has been composer in association with the Orchestra of St. John's and the Britten Sinfonia. He was guest Artistic Director of the Aldeburgh Festival in 2004 and Associate Director of the Festival from 2005 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013 he was the Artistic Director of the Dartington International Summer School.
