Anita Lasker-Wallfisch (born 17 July 1925) is a German-British cellist and a surviving member of the Women's Orchestra of Auschwitz. She moved to Britain in 1946 and married the pianist Peter Wallfisch, and had two children, her son the cellist Raphael Wallfisch and her daughter May Jacobs-Wallfisch, a psychotherapist. Her grandson is the composer Benjamin Wallfisch. Photographed here at Dartington Summer School of Music.
