Meredith Monk, American composer/vocalist/filmmaker and choreographer, in rehearsal at Dartington Summer School in 2010. The new work which she devised and premiered at Dartington was Songs of Ascension Monk is seen here in rehearsal with her ensemble and Dartington Summer School participants. She was collaborating with members of the Elysian Quartet and this photo shows Laura Moody their cellist playing the cello while walking around.
